There are two types of boiler that can be installed in most homes, a combi boiler or a heat only boiler.

A combi boiler provides both heating and hot water on demand, while a heat only boiler will provide heating on demand but will require a hot water cylinder and cold water tank in order to provide hot water.

When choosing a boiler, it is important to consider the size of your property as well as the number of bathrooms and occupants. A small flat with one bathroom will have very different boiler needs to a large house with multiple bathrooms.

For example, a combi boiler is a good option for a small flat as it provides both heating and hot water on demand. This type of boiler is ideal for properties with limited space.

When choosing a boiler for a large house with multiple bathrooms, it is important to consider the size of the property and the number of occupants. A boiler that is too small will not be able to provide enough heat or hot water for everyone in the house, while a boiler that is too large will be wasteful and expensive to run.
